Smarty ComMod

The Smarty ComMod works with the Smarty Touch tuner and is required to be able to program the 13-18 year trucks. It is only needed on the older trucks if you are having a dealer write custom tunes for your truck and those custom tunes are going to work on the "RT" button. Please ask the dealer making your custom tunes if you will need the Com Mod to work with their custom tuning.

• Includes the ComMod and J1939 cable 
• If you have an 06-07 5.9L cummins those are the only 2 years of trucks that do not have the factory plug to connect the ComMod too. On those years of trucks you would have to hardwire the cable to the truck. If you need instructions for doing that please email support@smartypros.com and we will email that to you. But you only need this on an 06-07 truck if you are getting Custom "RT" tunes specifically
